From the outside looking in

Ever have that outsider desperately wanting to belong feeling on coming across an invitingly cozy cocoon of light, warmth and comfort on a cold dark night?

  3. fed, it's at times like this I wish I had a gift for creating poetry too. A few succinct lines to say it all. But sadly, I was born without a poetic bone :(

  4. Defnitely, but when on the inside, I crave for the outside once more.. Somethings are best kept at a distance..
BTW.. nice pic. I guess everyone loves living in the age of digital photography! :D

  5. Thanks red, this was actually taken with my Nokia phone cam. It normally stinks as a camera but this particular shot came out a lot better than I'd dared hope for.

  8. Reminds me of the story of the little girl who sold matches. Nice picture, perfect for a Christmas card. 'Always on the outside looking in' tih hla thu te pawh a awm kha mawle

  9. diary, thanks, and now that you mention it, it does remind me too of the little match girl. But wouldn't it be rather a bit too dark and doleful for a Christmas card?

  10. I wouldn't mind receiving a Christmas card like this. Better than the ones my dad buys, he once got dozens of cards with a picture of cricket balls and a bat for Christmas, and some with Camels on it. Was mum mad!!!lol.

  12. Wish I had windows that look directly into my neighbours' rooms but sadly, my windows face only mountains and valleys and sunrises, yawn :D

Right, Gauri, seems like a universal affliction.

Lol diary, I guess non-Christian card manufacturers haven't a clue what the season's all about. I suppose the camels are slightly more acceptable considering the Magi story but cricket bats and balls indeed!
