Ever have that outsider desperately wanting to belong feeling on coming across an invitingly cozy cocoon of light, warmth and comfort on a cold dark night?
fed, it's at times like this I wish I had a gift for creating poetry too. A few succinct lines to say it all. But sadly, I was born without a poetic bone :(
Ni chiah mai e, azassk, kpoh chu chiah chu ka rilruah a awm alom. Thil hi a tak leh a lan dan inkar hi a lo hla khawp mai.
Defnitely, but when on the inside, I crave for the outside once more.. Somethings are best kept at a distance.. BTW.. nice pic. I guess everyone loves living in the age of digital photography! :D
Thanks red, this was actually taken with my Nokia phone cam. It normally stinks as a camera but this particular shot came out a lot better than I'd dared hope for.
Thanks Vana, naupang inkhawmpui dawn tlai lama kan hla zir vel laia ka lak nih hi. Kan zir rei thei sia, khua a thim hman ziah a. He in hi kan Biakin thlang lawk a nia, a lo inchhi eng mawi reuh em a ka'n la zuai nih hi. Ril tam tawh lamah nen chuan haw ve vat vat chakawm thei raps hehe
Reminds me of the story of the little girl who sold matches. Nice picture, perfect for a Christmas card. 'Always on the outside looking in' tih hla thu te pawh a awm kha mawle
diary, thanks, and now that you mention it, it does remind me too of the little match girl. But wouldn't it be rather a bit too dark and doleful for a Christmas card?
I wouldn't mind receiving a Christmas card like this. Better than the ones my dad buys, he once got dozens of cards with a picture of cricket balls and a bat for Christmas, and some with Camels on it. Was mum mad!!!lol.
Wish I had windows that look directly into my neighbours' rooms but sadly, my windows face only mountains and valleys and sunrises, yawn :D
Right, Gauri, seems like a universal affliction.
Lol diary, I guess non-Christian card manufacturers haven't a clue what the season's all about. I suppose the camels are slightly more acceptable considering the Magi story but cricket bats and balls indeed!
yes. i know exactly what you mean.
