Of course I realised this AFTER I experienced the same. :)

You can actually shoot the moon without a tripod too at 800 ISO and maybe 1/250th of a second at around claytonia viceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01700112193424567973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31570962.post-39863683698809814942011-12-12T21:08:25.864+05:302011-12-12T21:08:25.864+05:30I like shooting birds, yep, we get quite a few aro...I like shooting birds, yep, we get quite a few around the house, thanks to the trees.Calliopiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15291737369959906567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31570962.post-20262778464763840342011-12-12T20:11:37.129+05:302011-12-12T20:11:37.129+05:3055-300mm lens? I bought a new Nikon cam a couple of months ago, with a nice little 55-300mm lens and I was all set to shoot the moon - or so I thought. Turns out it's not just the settings but a tripod I need. Oh boy, if it's not one thing, it's another. I bet you'd take great moon shots though, Loch. Just a hunch :)Calliopiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15291737369959906567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31570962.post-65123449098519792712011-12-12T16:02:50.762+05:302011-12-12T16:02:50.762+05:30Finally! Next time I try it, I will remember your tips. Thank god for digital cameras. We can take a thousand photographs and choose the best one and be happy about it.Lochanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10199458132493413422noreply@blogger.com
